Two Marines Moving Is Hiring Moving Specialists

Professional Operators. Trusted Teammates. Proven Performers.

From the Founder

Nicholas Edmond Baucom — Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Two Marines Moving

Two Marines Moving is growing, and we are actively hiring Moving Specialists.

Let's be precise from the start.

Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs are the backbone of Two Marines Moving.

Much like Corporals and Sergeants are often described as the backbone of the Marine Corps, Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs serve as the backbone of our field operations. They carry responsibility for leadership, standards, execution, and mission accomplishment on move day.

Moving Specialists are the professional operators who execute the mission alongside them.

Many Moving Specialists eventually become Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs. Many do not. Both paths are respected.

This role is not a promise of command. It is a position of trust, execution, professionalism, and pride. And it matters. A lot.

The Role: Moving Specialist

As a Moving Specialist at Two Marines Moving, you are a front-line professional on move day. Your responsibilities include:

Executing assigned tasks to standard

Protecting client belongings and property

Working efficiently and safely within a team

Following established procedures without shortcuts

Supporting your Team Leader and Crew Chief

Contributing directly to mission success

You are not expected to lead the team.

You are expected to perform your role professionally and consistently. That responsibility carries real value.

Professional Operators Matter

Every successful operation requires leadership. Every successful operation also requires execution. A team filled entirely with leaders and no operators cannot function.

At Two Marines Moving, Moving Specialists perform work that directly impacts:

Client satisfaction

Safety

Efficiency

Team performance

Company reputation

That responsibility deserves respect. The role exists because it matters. Not because it is temporary.

Some of the most valuable teammates in the company are Moving Specialists who consistently perform at a high level and take pride in professional execution. We respect that. And we reward it.

Where You Fit in the Organization

Two Marines Moving is structured intentionally.

Team Leaders & Crew Chiefs

Drive company vehicles

Lead crews in the field

Make operational decisions

Manage client interactions

Own mission outcomes

Moving Specialists

Execute assigned tasks

Protect client property

Support operational excellence

Sustain team performance

Contribute to mission success

This structure protects the client, the team, and the individual.

Some people thrive as long-term professional Moving Specialists. Others develop into Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs. Both paths are honorable. Both are necessary. Both contribute to winning.

Mission First. Team Always.

We operate under a simple doctrine: Mission First. Team Always.

For a Moving Specialist, that means:

Do the job right, even when it's difficult

Put team success above personal convenience

Respect leadership and structure

Take pride in disciplined execution

Maintain professional standards

When Moving Specialists execute properly, Team Leaders can lead properly.

When Team Leaders lead properly, clients receive the experience they paid for. Everyone benefits.

Training, Standards, and Clarity

We do not rely on improvisation. As a Moving Specialist, you receive:

Clear training before execution

Defined procedures for packing, lifting, and protection

Repetition until competence becomes habit

Direct guidance from experienced Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs

You will always know:

What is expected

How to perform the task

How performance is measured

What success looks like

High-performance organizations value clarity. We do too.

Taking Care of the Team the Right Way

Taking care of people does not mean making promises. It means providing the tools necessary for success. That includes:

Professional training

Proper equipment

Consistent standards

Reliable expectations

Industry-leading pay for disciplined performance

You will be treated professionally.

You will be paid fairly.

You will be respected for the role you perform. Regardless of title.

Who Thrives in This Role?

This role is often a good fit for individuals who:

Take pride in physical work

Prefer clear expectations over chaos

Respect structure and leadership

Want steady, professional work on a reliable team

Understand that not everyone needs to lead to be valuable

Many successful Moving Specialists come from backgrounds such as:

Military service

Athletics

Construction

Skilled trades

Warehousing

Logistics

Customer service

Military veterans often adapt well.

Athletes often adapt well.

Tradespeople often adapt well.

Disciplined civilians often adapt well.

Background helps. Mindset matters most.

Advancement: Possible, Not Promised

Many of our Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs began as Moving Specialists. They advanced because they:

Mastered execution

Demonstrated reliability over time

Took ownership beyond their role

Showed sound judgment

Demonstrated leadership potential

Advancement is earned. Not assumed.

Leadership is one path. Professional mastery is another. Both matter.

Long-term Moving Specialists who consistently perform at a high level are respected, valued, and relied upon.

What This Is Not

We believe honesty improves recruiting. So let's be clear. This is not:

Gig work

Casual labor

A shortcut to leadership

An entitlement-based environment

We protect the team by being honest about roles and expectations. The right people appreciate that.

The Bottom Line

If you want:

Clear standards

Professional training

Industry-leading pay

A team that respects execution

Honest expectations about the role

Real opportunities for growth

Then becoming a Moving Specialist at Two Marines Moving may be the right fit.

If you are looking for guaranteed promotion, minimal accountability, or unstructured work, this probably is not the right environment.

And that's okay. The right fit matters. For everyone.

Apply today and earn your place as a professional operator on a disciplined team.

Mission First. Team Always.
