Two Marines Moving started as a moving company on November 10, 2008. The company took a life of it's own. It became more than a moving or storage company. Two Marines Moving became a symbol of patriotism, grit, and self-determination. Two Marines Moving represents freedom and independence. Two Marines Two Marines Moving is a lifestyle. We support the 1st amendment, 2nd amendment, and the Patriots that defend our unique America rights under the Constitution.
We're a community that supports one another. We come from a place where "got your six" means something. Two Marines Moving donates 50% of all profits to causes that support our veterans, entrepreneurship, and traditional American values.
About the Owner
Nick Baucom, founded Two Marines Moving on November 10, 2008. Baucom spent his childhood years not far from the banks of the Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined the Marine Corps as a senior in high-school, with 9/11 serving as a major catalyst in his decision to volunteer.
Baucom hit the yellow footprints on Parris Island in July of 2002. Private First Class Baucom completed the basic infantryman's course at SOI East located at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Baucom checked into his Reserve unit (Kilo Co 3/23) the same month the unit was activated as part of coalition forces assembling for the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Baucom earned his Combat Action Ribbon during the 2003 deployment. He considers the highest award on his chest, not a personal award, but a unit one. Baucom and his unit were awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for their actions in combat. The award from the Office of the President of the United States has only been presented twice in the era of the "Forever Wars". It's far from a participation trophy, and a true "team" achievement.
Baucom served in the Corps for 6 years until the completion of his enlistment. He received his honorable discharge from Active Duty after his second mobilization supporting "The Surge" in Iraq in 2008.
On November 10, 2008 Baucom founded Two Marines Moving, The rest is a history. It's a history that is still being written.
